Our Compass (5 simple rules)

Materials that matter

Silk Pillowcase

  • 100% mulberry silk chosen for longevity and low friction—helps extend product life and reduce replace and toss cycles.
  • Low-impact care: cold wash, air dry. See Care & Keep below for details.
  • Biodegradable fiber: at end of life, natural silk breaks down more readily than many synthetics.
  • Reusable circular tube  FSC certified paper, designed to keep (travel/storage). No plastic windows.

OhSoFabulous foundation brush — vegan, ultra-fine bristles, FSC-certified handle for streak-free coverage.

  • FSC-certified handle from responsibly managed forests.
  • Premium synthetic bristles — vegan (no animal hair),  biodegradable. Chosen for performance and durability to reduce replacements.
  • Low shed build: crimped aluminum ferrule + balanced weight.
  • Packaging: FSC-certified paper box, right-sized (no plastic windows; minimal inks).

Clarity note: bristles are premium synthetic by design.

Production, not overproduction

We work in small batches, learn from real demand, and avoid “just-in-case” inventory. Fewer dead-stock items means less waste and fewer markdowns bound for landfills.

Care & Keep (make it last—reduce your footprint)

Silk Pillowcase

  • Cold, gentle cycle in a mesh bag with mild detergent.
  • Skip the dryer — air dry flat or on a rack.
  • No bleach. Low-heat steam if needed.

#OhSoFabulous Brush

  • Rinse bristles downward (avoid soaking the ferrule).
  • Clean weekly with gentle soap; reshape and air dry flat.
  • Store upright to keep bristles crisp.

What we won’t do

  • No “eco” buzzwords without receipts.
  • No excessive packaging or plastic filler.
  • No claims we can’t prove. We’d rather say “in progress” than greenwash.

Note: “Biodegradable” depends on conditions. Silk is a natural protein fiber; bristles are vegan,. Don’t home-compost makeup tools.
